White House Denounces 'Democratic Hoax' as Additional Jeffrey Epstein Images Released

Democratic lawmakers have released a additional set of what they termed "disturbing" images from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The opening batch of 19 photographs—a portion of which have been previously circulated—along with another 70 released later on Friday constitute a small number of the approximately 100,000 images handed over to the House investigative panel, which is looking into the conduct and connections of Epstein.

The shamed investor died by an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being accused of sex-trafficking crimes.

High-Profile Individuals in the Photos

Included in the prominent personalities seen in the initial batch are well-known figures such as movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin empire.

Donald Trump is pictured in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is photographed with six women, whose faces are obscured.

Administration Statement

The White House reacted to the release in a statement, accusing Democrats of purposefully "cherry-picking" the pictures for partisan aims and to "attempt to fabricate a false narrative."

"That partisan falsehood against President Trump has been consistently disproven," a presidential representative said, maintaining that "the Trump administration has done more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have at any point by frequently urging openness, disclosing thousands of pages of records, and urging additional probes into Epstein's Democrat friends."

Democratic Lawmaker Comment

The photos were disclosed devoid of explanation, but as stated by a Democratic representative from California and ranking member of the oversight committee, they raise more questions about Epstein's links with wealthy individuals.

"Now is the occasion to stop this White House cover-up and deliver justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he stated in a comment.

The release of these images occurs alongside the House panel continuing its inquiry into the affair.
